Base Manager Charles Schmitter welcomes you to Boofzheim. Boofzheim is a very beautiful village, full of half-timbered houses, which is typical for the Alsace region of France. The base itself is located in a rural and quiet area about 1.5 kms from the village, on the Canal du Rhone au Rhin.

Our base offers toilets, showers and free open air parking.

If you are taking a one way cruise, it is possible for us to transfer your car from the departure base to the arrival base for a small fee.

Please note that the base is around 1km away from the main village where you will find various shops.

Cruising on the Canal de la Marne au Rhin and Canal du Rhône au Rhin, take your boat down the Arzviller boat lift and experience one of the greatest marvels of modern canal engineering.

Spend time in the cosmopolitan city of Strasbourg, admire Europe’s biggest stained glass window in Sarrebourg and enjoy fantastic view of Alsace from the Château du Haut Barr in Saverne.

Let down your hair and have fun at the Europa fun park in Rust, just over the border in Germany.
