Enjoy a peaceful way of life - seemingly unchanged for centuries as you journey under vast blue skies along the Canal du Rhone à Sète through the natural salt lakes and peaceful reed marshes that make up the Camargue.
The Etang de Thau is a haven for birds and wildlife and famous for its flocks of pink flamingos and the curious-looking Bouzigues oyster beds.

Watch the ‘Guardian’ cowboys at work rounding up herds of wild white horses and jet black bulls and take part in the many summer festivals that celebrate this age-long tradition.

Families will enjoy the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean at the seaside towns of Palavas les Flots, Carnon and La Grande Motte or step ashore and explore the ramparts of the medieval Crusader towns and ports of Aigues Mortes, Sète and le-Grau-du-Roi, where the colourful fishing trawlers and lively harbour restaurants make this a perfect place to while away a few hours in the sunshine.
