Jarnac, Canal du Midi
Base manager Olivier Chauvin welcomes you to Jarnac. Situated on the gentle banks
of the Charente, Jarnac remembers the time when its port welcomed salt and wine
in abundance.
The town quickly became a large trade center because of its position in the middle
for the production area for the well known" life water" of Cognac.
